Who we are

Watchboyz was founded by two driven individuals, David Schneider and Tim Gerhard. With their combined expertise in marketing, sales, website design, appointment booking, and customer retention - along with a shared passion for watches - they decided to bring their skills and love for the industry together. The result? Watchboyz.

OUR STORY

Season 1: Dropout

David and Tim always felt destined for more—striving for greatness rather than settling for mediocrity. While they weren't the top students, they never fell to the bottom either; they simply did what was necessary to get by. Even in school, they launched their first online businesses in dropshipping and spent significant time trading currencies. They soon realized that traditional education wasn't leading them where they wanted to go, so they made the bold decision to leave school and pursue their passions instead.

Season 2: Door 2 Door

Unsure of where to begin, David and Tim took the first opportunity they found that didn’t require prior experience: sales. They became entrepreneurs, starting with door-to-door sales of frozen food for larger companies before transitioning to selling electricity contracts. They dedicated 8 to 12 hours a day to going from house to house, gaining invaluable knowledge in the sales process and experience in customer retention and generating referrals. However, despite their progress, David and Tim felt there had to be more to their journey.

Season 3: Electricity Contracts

David and Tim were drawn to sales, particularly in the electricity industry, where they found it easy to sell without the burden of fulfillment. However, they believed there had to be a more efficient approach than door-to-door sales. This led them to explore B2B opportunities. They realized that by selling to businesses and real estate agents, they could significantly increase their sales with the same amount of effort. They discovered the power of leverage and marketing, prompting them to shift from door-to-door sales to selling exclusively over the phone and through meetings with business owners. Despite this success, David and Tim felt there was still more potential to explore.

Season 4: Solar Agency?

David and Tim were excited about selling to business owners, but they didn’t want to give away a significant portion of their profits to a company they didn’t own. Motivated by this desire for independence, they decided to start their own business. With extensive experience in door-to-door sales, B2B marketing for electricity contracts, and website design from their dropshipping ventures, they realized they had the skills needed to help others achieve similar success. This led them to venture into the solar industry, a booming market with high-ticket products and substantial profits. However, they began to wonder: did they truly have a passion for the solar industry?

Season 5: WatchBoyz

Tim and David felt they were on the right path, but something wasn't quite right. They had mastered marketing, design, sales, and customer retention, yet they sensed a lingering obstacle. It became clear that they didn't enjoy the solar industry. This realization left them feeling lost, as if they were back to square one. However, they soon discovered a shared passion: watches. They knew the industry inside and out and had the expertise to succeed. This revelation led to the creation of Watchboyz. Both were committed to doing everything in their power to help others in the watch industry achieve their dreams. They vowed to share all the insights, tricks, and skills they had acquired along the way to deliver exceptional results for their clients. They had finally found their true passion.
